The maiden edition of the All Talentz Hackathon Nigeria has officially come to a close, capping off a six-week innovation challenge built to give young Nigerian tech talent the mentorship, structure, and platform needed to turn bold ideas into working solutions.
Participants from across the country took on real-world problems in education, healthcare, financial inclusion, and agriculture, working through structured mentorship and access to expert judges to move their concepts from rough drafts to functioning prototypes capable of scaling well beyond Nigeria's borders.
Ten Teams, One Grand Finale
The competition culminated in a Grand Finale where ten standout teams pitched their innovations to a panel of judges and industry leaders. Three teams walked away with top honours.
Team Imago Takes the Top Prize
Team Imago, made up of Bolarinwa Ismail, Godsfavor Ahamisi, and Abdulquddus Abdulyaqeen, claimed first place with a maternal healthcare innovation built to save lives. Their solution is a handheld, AI-powered ultrasound device that integrates Meta's Llama and Microsoft Azure AI to bring accurate, accessible prenatal scanning directly into the hands of expectant mothers, wherever they happen to be.
The team's win came with a ₦10 million prize and a fully sponsored trip to TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 in San Francisco, a recognition of just how far the idea has the potential to travel.

Second and Third Place Finishers
•Team Waste to Wages placed second with a youth employment model that turns waste management into sustainable income opportunities, earning a ₦2 million prize.
•Team UniCBT rounded out the top three with an EdTech platform built to improve testing and learning outcomes, taking home ₦1 million.
A Hackathon Backed by Strong Partnerships
The event was organised in partnership with the American Business Council, Jumia, and TechCabal, and drew a notable guest list, including representatives from the U.S. Consulate in Lagos. Michael Ervin, Political and Economic Chief at the Consulate, delivered a keynote address commending All Talentz for its role in fostering innovation and preparing Nigerian youth with future-ready skills.
